The Glasshouse
at the heart of Lakeside is our signature Glasshouse Function Room — a light-filled, spacious setting where the lake and surrounding landscape become part of the experience. With a generous open-plan layout, stage, dance floor, professional kitchen and bar facilities, the Glasshouse provides the freedom to create everything from an intimate celebration to a truly spectacular event. It’s a space made for long lunches, beautiful dinners, cocktails, live music, dancing and unforgettable nights.
The Red Gum Room
Our Red Gum Room offers a more intimate setting, perfect for smaller celebrations, private gatherings, meetings and events. For larger occasions, it can also complement the Glasshouse beautifully, creating additional space for dining, relaxed conversations, entertainment or a more intimate retreat from the main event.
More Than a Venue
Lakeside holds a special place in the story of Benalla.
Built through years of community vision, generosity and determination, the centre was created with one purpose at its heart — to give our community a place to come together. Today, that spirit remains, while the venue continues to evolve with the events and people who fill it. From significant community celebrations to private milestones, Lakeside has been the backdrop to countless moments that matter.
